Hay About A Chair AAC26 is a chair which works just as well around the dining table as around a conference table, in a canteen or at the office. The About A Chair collection has developed a collection of chairs with conspicuous simplicity.
Designer Hee Welling has combined form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics.
About A Chair is the product of close collaboration between Hee Welling and HAY aspiring to create a family of chairs where all shells and frames can be combined – but where diversity is possible without perfection being compromised.
Hay About A Chair AAC26 is the newest addition to the About A… Collection. It features steel 4-leg base which is available chromed as well as black or white powder coated. Come see this and other HAY products in our Manchester showroom.
A variation of this product is currently on display in our Manchester showroom – Brick shell with Black legs (no upholstery).

How we deliver
All mainland UK purchases of a total value of £50 or more can enjoy free shipping (except large, fragile or ex-display items).
All orders that total less than £50 will be charged £5.All UK customers receive a 1hr delivery window by text and email (if provided) for your convenience and improved first time delivery success. On receipt of this text and email you will have the opportunity to change the date and location of your delivery if the slot given is not convenient.
All items that are in stock and ordered before 12 will be dispatched the same day for next day delivery in the UK. International deliveries will take longer. If an item isn’t in stock you will receive an email to let you know when to expect to receive it.
Shipping for Large & Fragile Items or outside the UK
Cost for delivery of Large or Fragile items is a flat fee of £75, please choose this option at checkout if you have added a large item to the basket. You may also collect from our Manchester showroom free of charge.
Cost for delivery of ex-display items varies depending on the item size or weight and is shown once you add your item to the basket and varies from £8 to £100.
If you are ordering multiple items which do not come under free delivery, the delivery charges will stack.
