Description
The Carl Hansen CH24 Wishbone Chair was designed as far back as 1949 and is therefore the first of Hans Wegner’s chairs for Carl Hansen & Sons.
The Y-Chair or ‘The Wishbone Chair’, as it is most often called due to the shape of the back, is a light chair and even being an armchair a relatively small piece of furniture. The curved hind legs and the semicircular top rail together with the elegant wishbone back endows the chairs with a welcoming air.
The CH24 wishbone chair sits well and its spaciousness allows its user to change position. The Carl Hansen CH24 Wishbone Chair is also available in the Citrus, Blue and Energy series as well as in various CHS colours, see separate products for all. Loose seat pads in leather are available too.
Variations of this product are currently on display in our Manchester showroom – All white, White with natural seat, soap oak with natural seat.
We also have samples of other finishes available to see. Call us with any questions or come over to see it for yourself.Downloads
