&Tradition Topan Pendant Lamp
The &Tradition Topan Pendant Lamp was the legendary Verner Panton’s first mass-produced design. Over fifty years old, it remains cutting edge and youthful. First designed for the Astoria restaurant in Norway in 1960, its cool simplicity leaves a lasting and memorable impression.
Try three of them clustered over a dining table. They produce a warming light that can be used with a dimmer or energy saving bulb. The Topan is available in a variety of colours.
Nordic design house &Tradition have a policy of using both yesterday’s master designers and today’s up and coming rebels. In this way they can guarantee that their designs have a timeless international appeal. This is certainly true of the Topan, which oozes as much style and avante garde charisma now as it did during the heady years of flower power.
