Moooi Golden Chair was designed by Nika Zupanc in 2011 as a shiny golden chair, however recently a matt version has been introduced. Now only the matt version is available for the UK market.
Under a mysterious magic spell, a retro-looking school chair is dipped in enchanted golden nectar, which washes away its austerity and crows it with a shiny aureole and creates the Moooi Golden Chair. Isn’t this a typical school-time wish, while looking out of the window and hoping for a fairytale to begin? Nika Zupanc waves her magic wand and fills that dreamy silence with a loud, daring and essential design. A ‘golden’ opportunity to make our childhood dream come true!
Nika Zupanc traditionally makes careful selections of her themes and forms. With them she offers an exciting look at the predominately male furniture-design market, where all the aspiration is poured into the technical, rational, sober, and utilitarian, as opposed to the intuitive, eclectic, vain, and hysterical. To accomplish this Nika Zupanc uses her poetic judgment, inner battles with stereotypes, and long-lasting affairs with technologies. She mindfully explores the limits of the industry when it comes to emotional effect and the juxtaposition of materials, both in product design and interiors.

All UK customers receive a 1hr delivery window by text and email (if provided) for your convenience and improved first time delivery success. On receipt of this text and email you will have the opportunity to change the date and location of your delivery if the slot given is not convenient.
All items that are in stock and ordered before 12 will be despatched the same day for next day delivery in the UK. International deliveries will take longer. If an item isn't in stock you will receive an email to let you know when to expect to receive it.
