In 1955 Barba Corsini renovated the loft space within Antonio Gaudi’s “La Pedrera” building in Spain, transforming it from a simple laundry room and storage area into 13 modern duplex apartments. To reinforce the modernist style of the rooms, Crorsini decorated the apartments with furniture that he designed himself, including Pedrera lamps and tables. Corsini achieved great international recognition for his architecture and design for La Pedrera.The inspiration for the base of the lights came from the vaulted ceilings of the famous house of ‘La Pedrera’ whilst the cylindrical shape and unique, perforated detail of the chimneys influenced the form of the lampshades. The Pedrera table completed the overall architectural experience of the flats.
Also available pendant and table versions as well as smaller H2O versions that Barba Corsini designed with Joaquim Ruiz Mullet in later years.
The Gubi Pedrera Floor Light is available in 2 colours: matt black & matt white. This is a dimmable light, comes with a dimmer.

All items that are in stock and ordered before 12 will be despatched the same day for next day delivery in the UK. International deliveries will take longer. If an item isn't in stock you will receive an email to let you know when to expect to receive it.
