The Carl Hansen OW2000 by Ole Wanscher who drew his inspiration from Ancient Egypt and Thebes when designing The Egyptian Folding Chair. It’s a folding chair that exudes dignity and power, and the construction and finish are outstanding. The seat is made of saddle leather. In the folded position, the seat folds down into the chair. Designed by Ole Wanscher. Wansche recreates the supreme elegance of this revered civilization via a folding stool constructed of organic forms. The solid frame references characteristics which the Egyptians most favoured; sturdiness and strength – created for longevity. Carl Hansen OW2000 seat of saddle leather is suspended in-between two upturned wooden seat panels which can be selected from three natural hues; black, cognac and nature.
