Vitra Eames RAR Rocking Chair
The Vitra Eames RAR Rocking Chair is designed by Charles & Ray Eames who presented the designs for the Plastic Chair Group at the “Low Cost Furniture Design” competition held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1950, they were the first industrially manufactured plastic chairs to be brought to market.
With its integrated armrests, the organically shaped shell of the Plastic Armchair offers superb comfort. The wide selection of bases makes it possible to use the chairs in a variety of settings: from the dining room or home office to the garden. Shells come in a broad range of colours and upholstery versions, so that components can be mixed and matched to find the perfect chair for individual needs.
A variation of this product is currently on display in our Manchester showroom -Chrome wire base, White shell, Golden Maple Skids.
We also have other finish samples available to see. Call us with any questions or come over to see it for yourself. #ondisplay
