One of the most popular products is the Cage Pendant which takes its inspiration from mining lanterns. The luminous glass body is protected by a decorative cage. The metal grille with its irregular structure and a hand-made flavour contrasts to the brilliant diffuser within. Cage is available as a floor light and table light.

Drumbox is inspired by the lamps used on photo shoots. Its materials originate from the world of technical clothing: a combination of linen and lightweight nylon with heat sealed seams like those used on wetsuits. Drumbox is a versatile light and is available as a table lamp, floor lamp or suspension, either stand alone or in multiple compositions.

Fork is an ironic lamp inspired by a campsite atmosphere. The canvas shade has typical tent stitching, with deliberately visible fabric seams. Large metal eyelets allow the supporting frame to pass through the shade meaning it can spin through 360º. The base has movable joints allowing the light to be orientated in many different directions.

Glas is a modern reinterpretation of the classic work light used in warehouses and factories worldwide, which has become a furnishing style icon. The warm, diffused light has a retro feel. The use of innovative materials like glass combined with a silver-coloured surface reflects like mirror, transforms this model into a unique decorative element that will strongly characterise any space. Glas is available in hanging and table versions.

Rock is the artistic interpretation of a split volcanic rock, that reveals clear, sparkling crystal inside. It is a hanging lamp with a captivating form, dark-coloured and flecked with golden speckles. There is a strong contrast between the dark, external surface that is rough to the touch and the casually sculpted and the shiny, iridescent interior with its paler tones. When illuminated, the asymmetrical interior surface creates a dramatic visual effect.

Duii is a light with a personality – its name inspired by one of Donald ducks nephews! Its articulated arm is held together with wing nuts, reminiscent of Maccano. The shade looks to be inspired by a workman’s hard hat or the Mohican style shaved head of the Diesel brand.

Tool celebrates work wear, one of Diesel’s recurring themes, and reinvents the vintage atmosphere of mechanics’ garages and workshops. Tool’s shape and materials are also inspired by the charm of industrial archaeology. Revisiting the robust geometry of industrial equipment, the Tool range transforms solid shapes into hollow forms to be used for illumination.

The shades are created from a single piece of rubber, which brings to mind the shape of a foundry mould or a mechanical part of a lathe. The impression created is that of an object straight off the production line ready to be inserted into the domestic environment – breaking all common design rules and conventional aesthetic guidelines.

The finish of the lamp is purposely irregular, like a semi finished piece just taken out of its mould. The Tool range includes suspended, floor and table lamps, in black. Suspended lamps come in small and large sizes. The smaller version also forms the basis for the reading and table light, shaped by a black metal stem and rough cement base.

The Perf light is characterised by its airy nature and fascinating illuminated holes, which seem like a code to be deciphered. The original idea was taken from traditional North African perforated lamps, yet it is a contemporary and technologically advanced product.

Small holes form an irregular pixelated pattern, allowing light to be softly filtered for a magic, almost hypnotic effect. The hinged joint of the diffuser’s main body adjusts the direct beam of light and reflects weaving patterns of light onto surfaces and walls. With aluminium, black, and rust brown finishes to choose from, Perf is available as a wall, floor or table lamp, all with an adjustable diffuser, for a soft and, direct light effect.

Pet is a table lamp with a strong, dark personality that brings to mind the atmosphere of a gothic cartoon. The design is both warm and at the same time, insistent in its sharp and angular lines, which define the lamp’s forward arching metal stem and in the four “paws”, similar to the claws of a bird of prey. These paws attach to the individual feet-shaped bases, made of striped rubber.

The language of pop is graphically represented on the lamps in the Graf collection in subjects that recall a DJ’s console – the symbol of nightlife and pop culture – and natural elements morphed into alternative prints. The fabric is an extremely opaque weave evocative of “fresh paint” and the images are produced in a contrasting interplay of black and white. The beam of light is warm, discrete and creates a suffused effect. The model is available in hanging, table or floor versions.

Metal glass is the result of the marriage between the centuries old tradition of blown glass and the industrial appeal of metal. The glass shade is distuguished by dense almost opaque transparency which is achieved by puring soda powder into the still-incandescent vitreous paste. The ensuing chemical reaction creates a myriad of bubbles which when the lamp is on, are tramsformed into luminous particles. Metal glass is available in several vintage colours and in two versions suspended or table.
